Commentary

We have picked up those Dwarvish names from The Lord of the Rings, The Silmarillion, Unfinished Tales and the collection The History of Middle-earth.

Dwarves had two different pronunciations for r: some used a trill, others used a back or uvular R, a sound that the Elves found distasteful. We have used a uvular R for this record.
