Our On-line dictionaries section (May 2008)


The Sindarin dictionary is available in a variety of formats. You can download our nicely packaged Windows applications, the ready-to-print PDF version, or download the raw files in XML if you intend to work on the lexicon and contribute to its improvements.

XML (TEI) & other formats

The TEI Guidelines for Electronic Text Encoding and Interchangespecifications define a document structure for encoding electronic dictionaries in XML.

Dragon Flame, Hesperides
