« A Tolkien Compass, a collection of essays edited by Jared Lobdell, is coming back in print later this year. Most notable for the Tolkienian linguist among the contents is Tolkien's own "Guide to names in The Lord of the Rings", which he prepared as a guide for translators of his works.
These notes contain much valuable information on the nomenclature of
Middle-earth, including Elvish names.

Je ne pense pas qu'une traduction de cette annonce soit nécessaire (l'anglais est assez accessible), mais, juste pour précision, le bouquin est annoncé pour novembre 2002 sur Amazon.com.
Au passage, pour ceux ou celles qui connaissent déjà ce livre, y a-t-il d'autres essais dignes d'intérêt, hormis le "Guide to the names in The Lord of the Rings" et cet ouvrage mérite-t-il d'être acheté ?
