Tout à fait d'accord sur le fait que le terme "race" pour désigner les différentes cultures ou ethnies ou familles humaines prête à polémique, mais je ne crois qu'il est utilisé ici au sens où l'entendait Tolkien. Enfin j'adhère tout à fait à ton ascertion, Thorin II même si je ne sais pas si on peut faire des "demi-nains" des hommes décrits par les officiers gondorien. :-)
Pour répondre à Korea, il possible que les Forodwaith descendent du peuple de Bór, donc des Easterlings si je ne m'abuses :
