Un peu plus loin dans ce même ouvrage, et toujours pour appuyer tes propos :
"Oropher was of Sindarin origin, and no doubt Thranduil his son was following the example of King Thingol long before".
L'appendice B du LotR (publié par papa Tolkien de son vivant et non inachevé) fait par ailleurs de Celeborn un elfe Sindarin du Beleriand (même si comme tu le fais remarquer, il est parfois considéré comme un Teleri...) et on peut penser qu'Oropher et Celeborn se sont au moins croisés à Doriath :-)
Quant à savoir s'ils avaient des liens familiaux, il faudrait peut-être que je demande à ma soeur Galadriel :-)
