Salut à tous,
Je recite à nouveau ce texte magnifique que j'ai déjà cité dans un autre fuseau récemment (décidemment...):
"(...)he wounded Morgoth seven times with his sword. (...)In his last throe Fingolfin pinned out the foot of his Enemy to the earth with Ringil, and the black blood gushed forth and filled the pits of Grond. Morgoth ever went halt thereafter" (HomE XI, 55).
La question est de savoir comment comprendre "pinned out ... to the earth" ...
Il est intéressant de noter que les textes que citent Cédric vont dans le sens d'une incarnation de plus en plus irréversible du maléfique: les corps de l'Ennemi deviennent toujours plus des conditions matérielles d'existence insurmontables et irréversibles...
