Effectivement, je l'avais oublié ce "petit" mot, ça en dit long ;-)
Mais je ne comprends pas comment on a pu passer de [emphase]« and the Orcs could not endure the light of his face »[/emphase] (dans HoME V) à [emphase]« and the Orcs fled before his face »[/emphase] (Silm., QS 18).
Je ne retrouve pas cette phrase dans les HoME. Est-ce une phrase de rédaction de Christopher ? mais alors, pourquoi? pourquoi atténuer une description superbement épique du père?? Ou bien (ce qe je crois/espère) une réécriture de Tolkien? dans ce dernier cas, il y aurait volonté d'atténuer/effacer la manifestation lumineuse chez Maedhros.
