Voici ce qu'en dit Robert Foster dans son _Complete Guide to the Middle-earth_ :<br>"The Great Plague : The plague that swept across Middle-earth from the south-east in TA 1636-37. Harad, and perhaps also Rhûn, suffered greatly. Gondor, which was struck next, was devastated. King Telemnar, all his children, and the White Tree died. Osgiliath was especially hard hit, and those of its inhabitants who survived by fleeing to the country did not return.
