Bien sûr que si, car c'était une conséquence évidente. D'une part, Indis n'est pas morte. De l'autre, Finwë fait le voeu de ne plus se réincarner et de remplacer Miriel en Mandos, comme je l'ai déjà signalé :

Ce n'est pas la première fois que je vois une incompréhension totale de la réponse de Mandos à Fëanor chez un Français. C'est un gros problème de traduction imputable à Alien :

Fëanor parle d'être tué en Aman (ou de se tuer, selon la façon dont on interprète la phrase). Mandos lui rétorque qu'il ne serait pas le premier et personne ne comprend. Il ne s'agit évidemment pas de Miriel, sans quoi ç'aurait été évident. Il s'agit de Finwë, qui à ce moment même a déjà été tué par Melkor, et Mandos le sait, car il sait visiblement tout ce qui se passe dans son domaine.

De fait, Ulmo est plutôt sévère. Toutefois, je note que Mandos juge Miriel innocente dans un passage du même texte, peu avant la section que tu cites :
