Passage intéressant car c'est la première fois, à ma connaissance, où Tolkien donne plusieurs raisons au « paradoxe religieux » de son travail (fondamentalement mais non narrativement chrétien, pour faire court).
Comprendre l'élocution de J. R. R. Tolkien est toujours un défi... mais je suppose qu'il faut entendre [emphase]“partly auctorial”[/emphase].
